Victor John Kaduce

Victor Kaduce, 77,  of Mankato, formerly of Amboy, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at his home in Mankato MN after an over 3 year battle with cancer.  A Celebration of Vic’s life will be held on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at 1 PM at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Vernon Center with Rev. Adam Finney officiating. The family requests that masks be worn. The service will be available via live-stream on the funeral home website. Victor John was born on August 26, 1944 in Braintree, England to Victor L. and Gladys (Clark) Kaduce. He was the eldest of 4 children. He graduated from Amboy High School in 1962. Vic married Lynda Sue Pinney on October 25, 1964 in Winnebago, to this union 4 children were born.  He was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Vernon Center.

            Victor loved woodworking and enjoyed doing projects with his children and grandchildren. He liked traveling, even if it was just to his favorite store, Menards. He was a big Minnesota sports fan, especially basketball. Vic enjoyed all aspects of farming. He will be missed for his smile and generous and patient spirit.

Vic is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lynda of Mankato; children, Nancie (Rob) Hoover of Greenacres, WA, Lisa (Edmond) Anyanwu of Lakeville, Scott (Kalasara) Kaduce of Kapaa, HI and Elizabeth (Brent) Coleman of St. James; 7 grandchildren, Taylor (Sam), Eli, Naia, Makaya, Amara, Callie and Michael; siblings, Robert Kaduce of Winnebago, Laura (Tom) Krumholz of Winnebago and Eileen (Kevin) Donnelly of Fairmont; many other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister-in-law, Jan Kaduce; niece, Shannon Donnelly; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
