Robert Edwin Kaduce, age 79, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, March 27, 2026, at Lutheran Church of Our Savior, Winnebago. A time for visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in Rosehill Cemetery, Winnebago.
Robert was born on February 1, 1947, to Victor and Gladys Kaduce of Winnebago, Minnesota. He was a graduate of Winnebago High School and Jackson Vocational College. He went on to build a respected career as a master plumber. Through hard work and dedication, Robert owned and operated a family business, Kaduce Plumbing and Heating, serving his community with skill and integrity for many years.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Janis Gail Jacobsen; baby boy Kaduce, Maija Kaduce, brother Victor Jr., brother-in-law Kevin Donnelly, nephew Jared Donnelly, niece Shannon Donnelly, niece Olivia Krause and niece Stephanie Jacobsen.
Bob, as he was known to his loved ones and community, was a father to Christopher Kaduce and his wife Kim, and Kelly Gregory and her husband Lee. Bob was a cherished grandfather to Colin Gregory and Dayna Sickler, and great grandfather to Hayes Zuhlsdorf.
He is survived by his sisters: Laura Krumholz and her husband Tom, and Eileen Donnelly and her son Ryan who lovingly cared for him after the passing of his wife. He is also survived by in-laws: Linda Kaduce, Brad and Annie Jacobsen, Brian and Carrie Jacobsen, and David and Ann Krause.
Bob enjoyed restoring and renovating old homes in the community. He also had a great passion for collecting vintage cars and found great joy in dreaming of restoring them. He also served his community as a volunteer firefighter, demonstrating his commitment to helping others.
In 2013, Bob and Jan were honored as Winnebago, Minnesota Hall of Fame recipients, a testament to their impact and contributions to the community they loved. Bob will be remembered for his generous heart, humor, and playful spirit. He brought laughter and warmth to those around him. He will be deeply missed.
