Robert “Bob” Jackson

Robert “Bob” Lawrence Jackson age 64, of White Bear Lake, MN passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 31, 2018.  Visitation will be Saturday April 7, 2018 from 10am to Noon at the Spencer-Owen Funeral Home, 345 6^th Ave SE, Winnebago, MN.  There will be a private family graveside service to follow.  Spencer- Owen Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.  www.SpencerOwen.com

Bob was born December 29, 1953 to James A. and Josephine (Rohlik) Jackson in Winnebago MN.  He attended school in Winnebago and graduated in 1972.  This is where his passion for sports began.  He then attended Mankato State College and earned his degree in Education. On July 13, 1974 he married Joan Stordahl and to this union his daughter Lisa Jo was born.  Bob had a lifetime career as a teacher and coach spanning several school districts.  He retired as the White Bear Lake Athletic Director and Head Football Coach. Bob is survived by his daughter, Lisa Jo Jackson (Ryan Stevens); sister, Kates (Ron) Severson; sister-in-law, Mary Jackson; nieces and nephews, Michael (Sue) Jackson, Patrick (Sarah) Jackson, Sherri (Hugo) Silva, Christine Jackson, and Sharon (Mike) Egan. He will also be missed by many other relatives, friends and former students. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, James “Jim” Jackson.
