Lowell "Duce" Lloyd Krause

Lowell “Duce” Krause II, age 56 of Amboy passed away Tuesday October 22,2019 at Mayo Health Systems in Mankato after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by people he loved. A memorial service will be held at 11am Monday October 28 at the First Presbyterian Church in Amboy with Rev. Elaine Boyd officiating. Visitation will be Sunday October 27 from 5-7pm at Spencer-Owen Funeral Home in Winnebago and continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Pleasant View Cemetery in Amboy.

Duce was born July 28, 1963 in Mankato, MN to Lowell and Mary Ellen (Raymond) Krause. He was welcomed home by his big brother Ted. He met his significant other, Linda in 1986.

He enjoyed his time fishing, hunting, cooking and listening to the Minnesota Twins, especially the 2019 season. He also loved his dogs! They had a special relationship and language that no one else will ever know.

Duce is survived by his loving partner, Linda Busse; his children Rebecca (Dustin) Johnson, Sarah (Aaron) White, Sean (Quinn) Busse, Jay-Dee Ewalt, Mary Lee (Avery) Teubner and Ryan (Dez) Krause; his grandchildren Isaiah, Zachary, Gracelyn, Hannah, Tristan, Alivia and Malachi; brother Ted (Emily) Krause; niece Bobbie; aunts, many cousins as well as many other family and friends, his closest friend Tim Pahl and Sam, his dog.

He is preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter Amaya, sister-in-law Beth Krause and his dogs Champ, Louie and Bella.
