Leora (Scholl) Johnson, age 94, of Loveland, CO, formerly of Amboy, MN, went home to be with the Lord on September 25, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

Leora was born May 3, 1932, in Winnebago, MN, to Willard and Ann Scholl. She attended Winnebago Public School and graduated in 1950.

On June 17, 1952, she was united in marriage to Russell W. Johnson. Leora loved the outdoors and nature, especially fishing and camping. She was a skilled antiques refinisher, and it was always a good day when her daughter Nancy showed up at lunchtime carrying Kentucky Fried Chicken!

Leora is survived by two daughters, Linda (Johnny Bert) Owings of Pryor, OK, and Nancy Oelrich of Loveland, CO; four grandchildren, Brandon (Shauna) Johnson, Jonathan Oelrich, Landon Owings, J. Logan (Sara) Owings; four great-grandchildren, Addison Johnson, Embry Johnson, J. Aiden Owings, and Easton Owings; sister, Donna Claude, many nieces and nephews, and many friends from near and far. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russ, of 50 years, and great-granddaughter Brylie Paige Johnson.

On behalf of Leora, the family extends their greatest appreciation to the staff of Good Samaritan Society of Loveland for all the care and assistance during the last two years, as well as the staff at Medical Center of the Rockies and Pathways Hospice, for such warm and comforting care through Leora's final breaths.
