James Meyer

James "Jamie" Meyer, age 62 of Winnebago passed away peacefully at his home Thursday May 21, 2020.

Jamie was born February 5, 1958 to Donald & Alice (Campbell) Meyer in Fairmont, MN. Jamie later moved to Winnebago where he spent the rest of his adult life. He married the love of his life, Shari Nichols on February 14, 1992. Together they had a daughter, Cassandra and 2 stepchildren, Candace Nichols and Brent Shaikoski. 

Jamie loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He enjoyed wood working, western shows, doing puzzles, and spending time with his grandson Tanner.

He will be greatly missed by many for his sense of humor, kind and caring personality, and the way he treated everyone he knew like family. 

He is survived by his wife Shari; children Cassie, Brent and Candy; grandchildren Kyle, Akia, Skye, Shae and Tanner, his brothers Kevin and Tim and sister Sharol. 

He is proceeded in death by his parents, grandparents and brother Chuck.

A celebration of life will be held by family at a later date.
