Iva Seefeldt

February 18, 1939 — August 15, 2022

Iva Louise Seefeldt (Allen) was born February 18th, 1939, in Delavan MN, the daughter of Daniel and Emma Allen. She was a proud mother of seven children and worked as a homemaker and former line worker at Stokely VanCamp.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends most, playing games, listening to her favorite man, Elvis Presley, and testing her luck at bingo and the casino. She also admired fishing; life was quite the catch for her.

Iva is survived by her children, Ruth (Harvey) Hayner of Des Moines, IA, Matt Matheson (Bill Sinclair) of Blue Earth, Rose (Angel) Martinez of St. James, Dan (Nancy) Matheson of Denver, CO, Tim (Betty) Matheson of Blue Earth and Becky Matheson of Storm Lake, IA, as well as many grandchildren, great- grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and other extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by, her parents Daniel & Emma (Fowler) Allen, husband, Melvin Seefeldt, sisters, Ruth Stalling, Arlene Yoho, Helen Masters and Donna Kramer and her brothers, Kenny, Harold, James “Bud” Allen, and her son John Matheson.

 Iva passed away on August 15th, 2022, at the age of 83 at St. Luke’s Care Center in Blue Earth. A celebration of her life will be held on August 27th at Spencer- Owen Funeral Home in Winnebago from 2pm-4pm, followed by internment at Rice Lake Cemetery-Delavan.
