Curtis Dean Thompson

Curtis Thompson, age 64, of Winnebago, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021 at his home.  A private family service will be held. Inurnment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Blue Earth.  Spencer-Owen Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. www.SpencerOwen.com

Curtis Dean Thompson was born May 2, 1957 in Winnebago to Wallace Arno and Darlene Marie (Brakke) Thompson.  He was one of 4 children. He graduated from Winnebago High School in 1976. Played Football and Wrestled. He enjoyed time with his family and friends. He hunted and fished and created memories to last a lifetime, unfortunate for those who he leaves behind that his life was shorter than most plan for.

Curtis is survived by his son Curt Thompson of Mankato; siblings, Wallace “Craig” (Julie) Thompson of Okoboji, IA, Cara Marie Thompson-Weir of Idaho and Colleen (Allen) Wendt of Amboy; 8 nieces and nephews, Stacy, Travis, Andrea, Braden, Brett, Danielle, Megan and Tyler; 11 great-nieces and great-nephews, Ethan, Brenden, Arjen, Anders, Asher, Ara, Eden, Shiloh, Olive, Abel and Blake; numerous other relatives and friends.

Curtis is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
