Celestino G. Diaz

Celestino G. Diaz the son of Agustin and Esiquia (Gobea) Diaz, was born April 6th, 1929, in Ennis, Texas. He passed away December 18th, 2023, at Parker Oaks in Winnebago, MN, at the age of 94. Celestino was a self-educated man, he liked working around the house. When he got in his teens, he did field work. His family moved to Winnebago in 1945 and started working in the fields. In the 60's he worked for Fairmont Salvage, and after that, he worked in the Twin Cities until his retirement in 1991. He liked working on cars and he enjoyed working his garden, planting many vegetables. He Loved having people visit and having family reunions. Left to cherish his memory are his sons David (Milinda) John (Diana) and his daughter Teresa. 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great- great grandchild. Brother Paul (Pauline). Sisters Doris and Pat. Along with many nieces and nephews. Celestino is preceded in death by his Parents, Brothers Thomas, Felix, James, and Natividad. Sisters Petra, Mary and Tina.
