Bradley Loren Sternberg

Bradley Loren Sternberg, Minnesota Lake, passed away on November 9, 2017 at Mayo Health Systems in Mankato at the age of 50. He was born November 3, 1967 in Sleepy Eye, to Donna (Meyer) and Loren Sternberg. Brad graduated from St. James High School in 1986 and went on to earn his Bachelors Degree in Fire Science from American Military University. Brad was a longtime Firefighter on the Amboy and Minnesota Lake Departments as well as a Fire Instructor and EMT all over South Central MN.  He enjoyed reading and running and spending time with friends, which included many coworkers. Brad is survived by his parents, Donna and Loren Sternberg; son, Lance Sternberg (Chelsea Thielen); daughters, Laura Sternberg and Stephanie Sternberg; sister, Lisa King (Duane); friend, Mary Sternberg; nieces, Danielle King and MaKenzie King; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends. Brad was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Carl and Hertha (Glienke) Sternberg, maternal grandparents, Ervin and Dorothy (Bloomquist) Meyer, and aunt Barb (Meyer) Wieske.  Visitation will be from 4-8 PM Friday at Spencer-Owen Funeral Home in Winnebago. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 3 PM at the Jackson Lake Lutheran Church, Amboy. Spencer-Owen Funeral Home- Winnebago.
