Bobbi Jo Soma

Bobbi Jo Soma, of Winnebago, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 15^th at UHD Hospital in Blue Earth.

Left to cherish her memory is her father, Bob Soma (Gayle) of Madelia; mother, Penny Soma (Andy) of Winnebago; brother, Jeff Soma (Pam) of Mankato; nieces, Taylor Soma of Mankato, Kylie Trimbo (Tyler) of St. Peter; step-brother, Sean Fenske of Mankato, Kristin Schuette of Minnetonka; and many more aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Shawn Soma; grandparents, Everett & Marjorie Johnson and Omer & Avis Soma; and aunts, uncles, and one cousin.

Bobbi Jo was born on October 29, 1969. She attended and graduated from Blue Earth High School. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family and friends. She also loved working on her computer, playing Yahtzee, Uno, and other card games. Bobbi Jo had a knack for remembering birthdays – if  you spent any time with her, she knew what day to wish you well! She also loved going to work at MRCI and later at Step Inc.

Due to Covid-19 concerns, family services will be held at a later date. Any memorials or cards may be sent to Spencer Owen Funeral Home in Winnebago, and from there will be directed to the family.
