Winnebago May 10, 2010 Harold P. Nichols Harold Nichols, age 75, of Winnebago, died May 10, 2010 at his home in Winnebago. Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Verona Cemetery, Verona Township, with Rev. Gary Branam officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 14, 2010 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Spencer-Owen Funeral Home in Winnebago. www.spencerowen.com Harold was born on November 10, 1934 at Verona Township the son of Paul and Winnie (Kray) Nichols. Harold was raised and educated in Verona Township graduating from Blue Earth High School in 1952. After High School, Harold attended Mankato State University. Harold worked at the Post Office in Winnebago, and later at Railway Motors in Fairmont for 20 plus years before retiring. Harold is survived by his son, Rory (Colleen) Nichols of Austin; daughter, Shari (Jamie) Myers of Winnebago; daughter, Sherry (Doyle) Black of Jefferson, Iowa; son, Kirk “Tony” (Mary) Nichols of Winnebago; 15 grandchildren 12 great grandchildren, and former wives, Kaye (Marsh) Michel and Karen (Bonkoski) Walters. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, and little brother, George Nichols.
