Anna M. Bunde

Anna M. Bunde, age 92, of Amboy, died Monday, December 28, 2009, at Parker Oaks. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2009, at 11:00 AM, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Amboy, with Rev. Rudolph Maurer, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Amboy, . Visitation time will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday, Spencer-Owen Funeral Home in Winnebago and one hour prior to services at the church Web tributes may be left at www.spencerowen.com Anna was born February 26, 1917, in Hamer, ND, the daughter of Ole and Frances (Hicks) Anderson. She was raised and educated in Good Thunder where she was a 1935 graduate of Good Thunder High School. She was married to Gordon C. Bunde on June 3, 1942 in Mankato. The couple Farmed in Good Thunder for a few years they later farmed in Amboy from 1953 until retiring following Gordon’s death in 1982. Anna continued to live on the farm until moving to Parker Oaks in Winnebago in 2005. Anna enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed crocheting, gardening, yardwork and cooking. Anna is survived by her daughter, Marilyn (Herb) Pederson of Winnebago, her son, Darwin (Monica) Bunde of Amboy, her sister, Muriel Buckholtz of Mapleton, her brother, Hanford Anderson of Good Thunder, 6 grandchildren: Brian Pederson, Kristy (Gary) Nienhaus, Eric Pederson, Michael Bunde, Lucas Bunde, Kayla (Tom) Caven, 4 great grandchildren: Kaylie, Carter, Landen Tucker, & Brielle, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1982, and two brothers, Bernard and Orville Anderson.
