Mary Jo Anderson

Mary Jo Anderson, 69, of Winnebago passed away April 28, 2016 in Blue Earth. A visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at the Spencer-Owen Funeral Home in Winnebago. Mary Jo was born March 13, 1947 the daughter of Howard and Florence (Muir) Garletz. She graduated in 1965 from Winnebago High School and attended college at the University of Minnesota and Mankato State University. On August 26, 1967 Mary Jo married Richard Anderson in Winnebago. Mary Jo was a member of the garden club, Center Creek Gun Club, Fire Arm Safety Instructor and a master gardener. She is survived by her husband, Richard Anderson; two sons, Eric (Dawn) Anderson and Chris (Kara) Anderson; brother, Kim (Carol) Garletz; sister-in-law, Diana (Larry) Porter; 8 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. Mary Jo was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Merlin Anderson; In-laws, Andy and Phoebe Anderson.
