ROBERT C WHITNEY, age 85, of Winnebago formerly of Delavan, died Monday, September 21, 2015, at Mapleton Community Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2015, at 10:30 AM, at Spencer Owen Funeral Home in Winnebago, with Rev. Rodney Yates officiating. Burial will be in Rice Lake Cemetery, Rural Delavan, MN. Visitation time will be from 5:00pm until 7:00pm Wednesday, at Spencer Owen Funeral Home, 345 6th Ave SE in Winnebago and 1 hour prior to the service at the FH. Robert is survived by his son, Paul (Michelle) Whitney of Omaha, brother, Herb (Judy) Whitney of Delavan, 3 grandchildren, Derrick Osmundson, Dylan Whitney, and Micaela Whitney all of Omaha. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret, parents, and step-mother Lillie Mae.
