AUDREY COVEY, age 86, of Lake Crystal formerly of Vernon Center, died Monday, September 29, 2014, at Mayo Clinic Health Systems Mankato. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 3, 2014, at 11:00 AM, at Grace United Methodist Church in Vernon Center, with Rev. Lynn C. Borgeson officiating. Burial will be in Sterling Cemetery, Mapleton. Visitation will be 1 hour before the service at the church. On July 24, 1946 she married George B Covey in Amboy. She enjoyed reading, knitting, and most of all her family. She is survived by her son, Richard (Lani) Covey of Bloomington, son, Robert (Valeria) Covey of Pueblo, daughter, Barbara (John) Godersky of Anchorage, son, Gerald (Kim) Covey of Good Thunder, daughter, Jane (Jeff) Kietzer of Vernon Center, daughter, Katherine (James) Thom of Blue Earth, 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, nieces, Lynn, Sue, great nephews, Paul, Geoff, great nieces, Holly, and Felicity all of Newport, South Wales, England. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and one sister.
