Anne Chrisitan

Anne Christian, age 70, of Winnebago, died Sunday, February 16, 2014, at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Mankato. Memorial visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until service time at 4:00 PM on Friday, February 21, 2014 at the Lutheran Church of Our Saviour in Winnebago. Family will continue to greet friends from 5 :00 PM until 6:30 PM at the church. Spencer-Owen Funeral Home in Winnebago is assisting the family with the arrangments. Web tributes may be left at www.spencerowen.com Anne was born April 24, 1943, in Winnebago, the daughter of Myron and Trellis (Franklin) Mineer. She was raised and educated in Winnebago where she graduated from Winnebago High School in 1961. She was married to David L. Christian on April 5, 1963 at Basey Church in Winnebago. Anne worked at Telex in Blue Earth for several years, as a waitress at Winnie Mart and later as a waitress at the Winnebago Legion for many years. Anne is survived by her son, Alan (Sharron) Christian of Mapleton, son, Tim Christian of Hendricks, MN, son, Chad Christian of Rake, Iowa, her daughter, Heather (Steve) Hernandez of Winnebago, brother, Lynn (Donna) Mineer of Walker, MN, sister, Rita (Jim) Loftness of Battle Lake, MN, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and an infant sister.
