WINNEBAGO May 25, 2012 ARLONE SCHULTZ ARLONE SCHULTZ, age 92, of Winnebago, died Friday, May 25, 2012, at Parker Oaks in Winnebago. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at 2:00 PM, at First Presbyterian Church in Winnebago, with Rev. Michael Roys officiating. Burial will be in Sterling Cemetery, Amboy, Visitation time will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Monday, at Spencer Owen Funeral Home, 345 6th Ave SE in Winnebago and one hour prior to services at the church. Web tributes may be left at www.spencerowen.com Arlone was born August 4, 1919, in Winnebago, MN, the daughter of Robert and Beemin (Nienow) Jacobson. She was raised and educated in Winnebago where she was a 1937 Graduate of Winnebago High School. She had worked as a “Rosie the Rivotor” in Utah during WW II before returning to Winnebago where she married Herman W. Schultz on December 8, 1946 in Blue Earth. Arlone was a homemaker and had worked as a beautician, was a seamstress for many years, and worked at S & L Clothing in Winnebago for 16 years. She was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church where she was active in circles, taught Sunday school and was instrumental in establishing the Next-2-New program. She enjoyed playing cards with her family, knitting and crocheting. ARLONE SCHULTZ is survived by her daughter, Donna Bergren of Winnebago, her daughter, Jean Anderson of Winnebago, her grandchildren, Preston Packard and Samantha Packard and her great grandchildred, Isabella Packard and Savannah Aitchison. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband-Herman and two brothers: Robert and Stanley Jacobson.
