Lynn M. Lloyd, age 61, of Amboy, died Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at St. James Medical Center. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at 10:30 AM, at Jackson Lake Lutheran Church in Amboy, with Rev. Todd Substad officiating. Burial will be in Jackson Lake Lutheran Cemetery, Amboy. Visitation time will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Monday, at Spencer Owen Funeral Home in Winnebago and one hour prior to services at the church. Web tributes may be left at www.spencerowen.com Lynn was born September 7, 1950, in Seattle, Washington, the daughter of Clifford H. Anderson and Ellen (Johnson) Anderson. She was raised and educated in Texas where she was a 1968 graduate of Amarillo High School in 1968. Following graduation she moved to Minneapolis where she became a truck driver. Trucking lead her to Amboy in the mid 1970’s where she met and married John Lloyd on July 4, 1980 at Jackson Lake Lutheran Church. Lynn was a homemaker and had been a school bus driver for Amboy Bus Service and later Palmer Bus Service until recently. She was a longtime member of Amboy Volunteer Fire Dept. and the Jackson Lake Lutheran Church where she was a past president of the church council. She was a girl scout leader, 4H leader, member of the Amboy Legion Auxiliary where she help organize the Halloween and Christmas party for the kids of the community. She was also a Maple River Marching Band Mom and was coordinator of the Amboy Parade for several years and made wonderful caramels. Lynn is survived by her husband, John Lloyd of Amboy, her son, Jessie Lloyd of Amboy, her daughter, Leslie Lloyd of Amboy, her brother, Leroy (Teresa) Anderson of Delaware, Ohio, her brother, Clifford Anderson of Amarillo, Texas and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister-Arlene Anderson and brother- Norman Anderson
